Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. We consider all the homes that we have built to be anchors of home ownership that are strengthening our community. Communities with higher rates of home ownership are stronger, safer and have higher rates of wealth accumulation. With each family that we transition from substandard housing into home ownership we are making a lasting impact on that family’s long-term future.
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio brings people together to inspire hope, build homes, empower families, and develop communities. Habitat MidOhio offers a program designed to be a hand up, not a hand out, to families in need. Through hard work, commitment, and hundreds of hours of sweat equity, Habitat MidOhio partner families are breaking the cycle of poverty through homeownership and creating a brighter future for their children.
Lifeline Christian Mission extends hope and elevates people to experience their God-given potential around the world.
People in Need, Inc. of Delaware County, Ohio (PIN) helps Delaware County residents with immediate emergency needs possibly created by job loss, break-up of the family, illness, death, or other unexpected financial emergencies. We do not believe we are solving all of the people's problems by simply handing out food or paying utility bills. We see the immediate emergency need as a symptom and not the problem. Our role is to provide assistance with the immediate need and to take a look at the total needs of the family unit. We work with the family or individual to identify appropriate referrals, using all available community resources.
The American Red Cross exists to provide compassionate care to those in need. Our network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world, through five key service areas: Disaster Relief, Supporting America’s Military Families, Lifesaving Blood, Health and Safety Services, and International Services.
See the Needs is a centralized location for people who want to help their local community to find organizations and opportunities to serve. The site is for all people to connect and help in the community. It is our goal to match people’s passions and areas of interest with organizations and serving opportunities that align with those passions and get people to serve in ways that speak to them. If you can see the need, you can meet the need.
